We rented a second storage unit today in order to receive our last bit of household goods that have been in storage since October 2005.

Yes.  2005.  

We haven't seen nor apparently needed anything in this 900-pound lot for nearly a decade so rather than just leave it in storage until we ship out next, I decided I needed to go through it.  And since it has to be delivered by August 15 for the State Department to pay for the delivery (and I most definitely don't want to pay for the delivery), the time has come to act. 

By the time Jimmy retires, I will surely have enough knowledge and firsthand experience to open or at least manage a storage unit facility.
