Security briefing, waiting for a badge in a process that made the DMV look efficient, a new badge, early mornings, metro rides, new people, proving yourself once again like you have to do every two years, shifting desks, exhaustion, self-doubt, a thousand applications for which you need access, a new pack of sticky notes.
