We spent a wonderful holiday weekend in the North Carolina mountains with Jimmy's family. It was the first time we'd been there for the 4th of July with them, which was a nice treat.
We went tubing at Deep Creek, and Mac went whitewater rafting with his cousins (where he won the award for Most Photogenic Boy in a Raft).
We went to Cherokee for gemstone mining, go-cart racing, arcade playing and some hiking. 
It was a great weekend with lots of good food and fun activities.
